Advocate R.S Goswami

With over 27 years of experience in a range of areas, including matrimonial law, civil and criminal law as well as incorporate and IPR, Advocate Goswami is regarded and has been consistently honored as one of the best litigating and matrimonial lawyer in the country. He has many leading cases to his name and has won various honors and awards from numerous law colleges, media groups and non-government bodies. He is also regularly invited in panel debates on various legal and social issues on National TV Channels and has been called upon as guest of owners in numerous seminars and conferences.

Due to Advocate Goswami’s stature in the legal field and his social relations with the Bar and the Judiciary, he has been on the governing body of the Bar Council of Delhi. In 2004, he contested elections of Bar Council of Delhi and got elected as an Executive Member of Bar Council of Delhi with thumping margin and he was also appointed as a Member of Enrollment Committee of BCD and other committees. Subsequently, he was appointed as Hon. Secretary of B.C.D.

His work on the governing body of B.C.D was recognized by the legal fraternity which ultimately resulted in him being elected as Chairman, Bar Council of Delhi in 2012. In his tenure, he brought drastic changes in the working system of Bar Council of Delhi and worked tirelessly for the welfare of the bar and also for the litigation system in the country which resulted in his unopposed re-election as the chairman of Bar Council of Delhi.
