Advocate Sunil Fernandes

Advocate Sunil Fernandes has been providing legal advice and services since 2003 and is an independent lawyer, practicing in various fields of law including Corporate Law Law, Property, Consumer Protection, and Legal Drafting. In the past decade, he has conducted and argued more than 2,500 cases in the Supreme Court in diverse areas of Civil, Criminal, Tax, Arbitration, and Criminal and Constitutional jurisdictions. He has also held positions like the Standing Counsel and Advocate-on-Record for State

Governments, like the States of Jammu and Kashmir, and Haryana, as well as government bodies like AIIMS, New Delhi, MSTC etc., in the Supreme Court. He has represented several domestic and international blue-chip private companies in the energy, telecom, mines and minerals, transport and infrastructure sectors.

Advocate Sunil Fernandes is a gold medallist graduate in Political Science from Bombay University. Sunil has represented and won National Inter-University Quiz and Debate Championships for the Bombay University, besides being the President of the Students Council of Bombay University, Senator (Bombay University Senate), and has been the recipient of the Best Student Award, both in his University and his College (Mithibai College). He also holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Hindu College and LLB from Campus Law Center- Delhi University.
