Harpal Singh

Recently retired from Delhi Police as the ACP of Hauz Khas, Mr.Harpal Singh, a Post Graduate in Mathematics from DU, now runs a consultancy firm primarily catering to matters pertaining to police complaints/investigations.

He had an outstanding career of over 35 years in active police service. In the beginning of his career, he served as an Incharge of the Police Posts of Paschim Vihar, Mianwali and Madipur (All now full fledged Police Stations).

After being promoted to the rank of the Inspector, he served as the SHO of Police Stations in Kirti Nagar, R.K Puram, Old Delhi Railway Station, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Greater Kailash, Nangloi and Malviya Nagar.

On being promoted as the ACP he, apart from being the ACP of Crime Against Women Cell and ACP Special Investigation Team (Crime Branch), he headed two subdivisions of Alipur and Hauz Khas.

Mr. Singh apart from having many commendation certificates to his credit has also been awarded with the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
